How to Permanently delete your account (Part 1)

In some of the situation, people want to delete their social account. But most of the websites ( Facebook, Twitter etc) will give you real headache when in deleting phrase. here's the direct link and ways to delete the most famous social website:

1) Facebook
The link cannot be found that easily, but it is there. See the direct deletion link below. Be aware not to login for 2 weeks or use Facebook in any other way, or your account will be activated again, instead of deleted.

If deletion is too much for you, try deactivation first. The link is: http://www.facebook.com/deactivate.php

For more information, also read https://www.facebook.com/help/359046244166395/

As of August 2012, photos are now completely deleted, due to many complaints that they kept being accessible.

2)Skype
It is yet not possible to delete your account. You can only delete your profile information. See also https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA142/How-do-I-delete-my-profile-or-Skype-Name

However, as some people told us: write an email to support@skype.net (you'll find the adress for your country on the skype support website) and say, that you want to delete your account. If you're lucky, they respond within 48 hours. They might ask for some more personal information for verification purposes.

3)Google
Direct link to delete your complete Google account, including ALL services (be aware!). See also http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?answer=32046

4) Twitter
Use the link below to deactivate your account. Twitter calls it 'deactivation' instead of 'deletion'. In spite of this, it seems your info will actually be deleted. Read
http://support.twitter.com/entries/15358-how-to-deactivate-your-account for more info.

5)Yahoo mail
Direct link to delete your account, and of course, all associated Yahoo services cannot be used anymore. So also Flickr (if you have it) will be deleted by this action! If you wish to delete only your Flickr account, find Flickr in our list: you can delete that one separately.

6) Myspace
Login on Myspace; then use the link to delete your account.

7)Groupon
Unfortunately we could not find an automated way for cancelling your account. You'd better send them a mail to ask for deletion (use the link). This goes for all Groupon sites (e.g. groupon.de, groupon.nl, etc.).
This is stated in their Privacy Statement . http://www.groupon.com/privacy

Nr 3 in the Statement is about sharing your personal data (which in some cases they will share for commercial purposes), so read well.

8)Whatsapp
In WhatsApp, go to the main menu, Settings, Account, and choose the last option (Delete my account). This will remove everything. You will probably want to delete the app from your phone too.

9)Steam
Steam is very unclear about account removal. You should try to file a removal request using the contact form found here: http://store.steampowered.com/ssa_feedback since your account cannot officially be deleted by request. On their support pages they state: 'Only inactive accounts containing no games are deleted. Accounts cannot be deleted by request.' However, one of our visitors pointed out that some removal requests are in fact granted, so it's worth the try.

A new name can be registered if for some reason you need a new account. For more info on cleaning up your computer from all Steam-related data see: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070913044038AAQrc8N

Then, the Subscriber agreement of Steam states that you can always cancel your account (but how?!). See: http://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/

Concluding: it seems nearly impossible to delete your account, since it can never be done by yourself, except for 'deleting all your games from your account first, hoping for the account itself to be deleted'. Probably this will be done automatically since then your account will look obsolete.

10) iTunes
There is no direct link for deletion. It is often smart to deactivate (disable) your iTunes account, since it's linked to the possibility to use the items you once purchased (due to DRM. See also http://www.iskysoft.com/article/remove-drm-protection-from-itunes.html ).

It is possible to delete (cancel) your account, too. For this, contact Apple (mail or telephone) and request deletion. Use this link:
http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/

You will be guided through something called 'Express Lane'. Since the options change on a regular basis, choose the options that suit your request best. At the end of the line you will be able to fill out the contact form and request removal. At this point you are asked (as was told to us) that you need to make a phone call. Ask for the Account Security Team and explain your request. In the end however, it remains unclear to us whether your account will really be deleted. Beforehand, you could log in and change/anonimise your personal data.

hope this will help, kindly comment if you have question about it
